I began taking photos from the stands during trips to Chemung Speedrome, Woodhull Raceway and Black Rock Speedway in the spring of 2008. After some guidance from multiple track photographers in New York and Pennsylvania, I was first published in the online magazine RaceProWeekly.com in 2009. This led to other opportunities, including my role as a contributing photographer for DirtTrackDigest.com.

My work has been featured in multiple print and electronic publications, most notably on the cover of (the now defunct) Gater Racing News in the Spring of 2014. Other publications my work has been featured in include but aren’t limited to: the 2014 Allstar Performance parts catalog, DirtOnDirt.com, Area Auto Racing News, the monthly I.M.C.A. Racing newsletter, DirtTrackDigest.com, and RaceProWeekly.com.

In 2014 and 2015, I was the official track photographer for Black Rock Speedway (now Outlaw Speedway) located in Dundee, NY.  2016 brought new horizons, and I got  the opportunity to work for the Patriot Sprint tour as their official photographer, while continuing to contribute to DirtTrackDigest.com, RaceProWeekly.com and Area Auto Racing News.

My most recent venture consists of writing articles for Flat Out Magazine, along with contributing photos to the publication.

I am always looking for new photographic challenges. I have photographed numerous other sporting events, senior and other portraits, and landscapes.

Away from the track, I enjoy to travel, camp and fish in what little spare time I have.  Those journeys are chronicled on my personal Instagram account, @CurtisBerleue, and in some of the pages on this site as well.
